Monestir de Sant Pere de Rodes

Monestir de Sant Pere de Rodes

Some claim the monastery was built on the site of a Roman temple. Perched precariously in the hills, below the remains of a village and church of Santa Elena, it looks out to sea and further to the horizon of the Pyrenees. The sunrises here are magical.
